School supplies by grade level are available online.
Dress Code
Standard School Attire is optional this year. However, students should still dress according to these guidelines:
- All shirts must have short or long sleeves and fit at the waist.
- Spaghetti straps, strapless, tube tops, off-the-shoulder, open backs and muscle shirts are not allowed.
- Midriff or “tummy” must be covered. Shirts must be properly buttoned.
- Maxwell students may wear any type of school appropriate t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. Please ensure all writing and logos on the shirts are appropriate for school.
- Students may also wear any shirt with the school's logo or that supports a school-sponsored program.
- Leggings and jeggings are not allowed unless worn under appropriate shorts, skorts, skirts, or dresses.
- All shorts, skirts and dresses must be at or longer than fingertip length when arms are held at the side and must be worn at the waist. Sagging is not allowed.
- Solid blue denim will be allowed every day.
- No hats inside the building.
- No oversized coats, hoodies or jackets with hoods can be worn inside the classroom. Please send a light sweater or light jacket without a hood for students that may get cold inside the classroom.
Dress code enforcement shall be based solely on the guidelines and shall not be based upon biases, gender norms or gender assumptions.
When a student is dressed in a manner which is likely to cause disruption or interference with the operation of the school day or in a manner that violates the developed guidelines, they will be asked to change.If you are in need of support in acquiring SSA clothing please contact our school counselors:
Clever for Students
The Clever portal provides 1-click access for many applications that students access with their own MNPS username and password.
